[STORMREPORTS] T.D. # 12?

Well it looks like T.D. #12 is up to it's Jekyll and Hyde antics
again. With the area T.D. #12 was located in showing all environmental
signs to allow continued development, it failed to do so. When I looked
at 0300 UTC satellite imagery last night it did show telltale signs of
weakening (shear?) and this morning I doubt it's still a T.D. When I
looked at the 0000 UTC 300-850mb shear analysis there was none to speak
of and the 1200 UTC prog. also showed none of consequence. It still has
a chance to develop but actually Florida would benefit more from a
tropical wave or T.D. as far as statewide beneficial rainfall.
Here in Florida today with a little mid level warming, some high
level cloud blowoff from T.D.#12? inhibiting surface heating somewhat
and a stiffer SE flow keeping the gulf coast seabreeze at bay, severe
weather events should be more isolated in nature. Area's of Pasco and
Pinellas County's picked up 4+" of rainfall last night. At my location
in Plant City my yearly rainfall total of 44.19" is now ABOVE normal.
TIA still carries a large year to date rainfall deficit but I think they
have had a Pelican nest in there guage for years. :<))
