If things were normal here in SW Florida, I would will all of you Texas our
extra rainfall. The problem is that this year we do not have extra rainfall.
This Labor Day Weekend dry air is coming up from south of us, so it will be
pretty rainfree in SW Florida (Collier, Lee, & Charlotte Counties). We are
6+ inches short for the year and even ended up a bit short in August.
Richard Macomber ps: It is still going to take a tropical storm or hurricane
to get us up to a reasonable level of water to get us thru the coming dry
season. As we say, a lot can happen before November 1st
(and possibly after it).
