Winchester (nw) VA
Hello everybody,
It has been wet this week [just under 2" of rain since Sunday].
Although my local total was light today [.39"], many other areas had
much more. 1-3" fell along the VA/WV border (15 miles to my north) with
a localized radar estimate of 6".
In addition widespread 2-5" amounts fell in 3 south central PA counties
(Adams, Lancaster, York), with radar estimated peak rain rates of 8-10"
in nw York Co.
Dewpoints make us feel like we are living along the Gulf coast. Thur dp
range 71/77; Fri it was 72/77. The afternoon highs also rose, 81 & 85
respectively. The humidity has been 70% or higher last Sunday. The heat
index was 90 Thur & 94 Fri.
This wx is forecast to break Tue, w/ more fall like conditions due
then.

note to webtv subscribers who use a 600 series HP printers (especially
the 610 & 612), a defect at webtv has for the moment, left our printers
useless. WTV is aware of the problem, but has no ETA of when it will be
fixed.
