The USA Disaster Situation Report
Special for June 25, 2000
The National Weather Servive has just issued a Tornado Watch for New England
Central and Eastern New York
We are sending a Special SitRep due to the location of the watch area.
It is not normally our practice, to send out Special SitRep's with watch
information, however tornadoes that occur in the northeast of the United
States are especially dangerous because people area often not prepared for
them to occur.
The other reason to send out the special SitRep is that this probability was
not reported in our Daily SitRep.
We remind users of the SitRep that they should not rely on this report for
warning information.
