When we break records here, sometimes it's in style. We erased the old
record of 78 about 11am, ending up for a high {at} 83.7 degrees. At the
nearby airport, which is several degrees warmer, peaked at 88. It is
also the warmest day so early the season.
The temperature here in early March averages
about 50 for a high. We stayed above that for a low this am, only
reaching 52.5. The 84 degree high would be normal in 3 months from now,
around June 10.
Reality check weather behind Thur evening's cool front. Temperature are
forecast to fall sharply, to near 60, for the weekend, with a rain
threat for Saturday afternoon & night.
