Here in the Cascades our local ski area, Mt. Baker, had only 6" of
new snow yesterday but reports between 152 and 202" total depth as of today.
This is slightly ahead of last year's snow on the ground at this date
during the world record of 1140" total snowfall.
But here in Bellingham at sea level we have just a trace on the
ground and it is melting fast with temp. in the low 40s this morning. The
foothills have a foot on the ground at 1,000'. I wish we got more snow down
here, but we can always drive for a bit and get all snow imaginable!

Hello everyone,
Yesturday I emailed everyone saying that in the Catskill
Mountains
of NY, there was 5.5" and still snowing. The final amount of snow from
this
winter storm was 6". Currently it is very cold, only around 8 degrees or
so
and the wind chills are brutal.
