Winter Storm January 7-9 1999

Another winter storm spread over the Eastern US between Thursday January 7 and Saturday January 9. The picture above is of Vehicle #1 here at CASI HQ on Friday the 8th. Snow, sleet, freezing rain, and rain fell. Parts of Maryland received up to 8" of snow. Washington DC and New York City were left with 2". Here at CASI HQ in State College PA we recorded 3.5" of snow, 0.5" of sleet, and a good bit of freezing rain (details here).
