Tornadic Severe Thunderstorm Squall Line
May 3, 1997

A Severe Squall Line tore through NC on the morning of May 3. The clouds looked threatening when they came through HQ around 9am, and turned tornadic in Eastern NC where several funnel clouds and tornadic damage was reported.
