In 1995 I set up the J-CAM, one of the first personal webcams, in Raleigh, NC. In 1997 I launched my first weather webcam in State College, PA, using a VHS video camera connected to a Snappy Parallel Port capture device, uploading here, to WeatherWatchers.org. At one time I was running seven weathercams at my house. Today, you can see more than two dozen weather webcams that I've installed, administrate, or archive, in various locations:
