Subject: You didn't warn me...
First, I want to thank everyone on this mailing list for the useful
information they post and the questions they answer. It provided me with a
lot of important information before I even ordered my Jeep.
Now that I've been driving around in it a month I noticed there was one
thing no one here warned me about, proably the most important thing.
I'm talking about JeepEnvy.
Webster's defines JeepEnvy as:
JeepEnvy: noun 1. the feeling of resentment or discontent over another's
Jeep. verb. 1. to regard another's Jeep with extreme envy or desire.
It seems my family and friends have all come down with this horrible
syndrome. Symptoms include (but are not limited to): Playful teasing about
the Jeep, repeated requests to drive the Jeep, fondling of the Jeep,
stealing of keys to the Jeep, sudden desire to go to the store in the
middle of the night for milk driving the Jeep (because my car is too
cold/broken/out of gas), etc.
Does anyone know of a cure for this (other than giving up one's Jeep or
buying family and friends Jeeps)? I was thinking of using electroshock
therapy (hook them up to my battery with jumper cables maybe).
Thanks!
