Note that they can't get line lengths right, and that every place they
SHOULD have had a quote ('), they put in some stupid combination character
(o with a ' over it) that did not show up right (and pine removed from
this forward!)
Oh well, at least I've been good and Santa is proud of me...

Happy Holidays! I hope the weather where you are is better than it is here. I have just come in from the
snow, brushed the snowflakes from my beard and boots, and settled down in front of my new computer
when I got your letter! It’s great to hear from you. That's a pretty tough request in your letter.
I bet you didn’t think Santa got gifts, too. But, dear Mrs. Claus bought this computer and signed me up for
the Internet so that I can answer letters like yours more quickly. Things get really hectic around here during
the holidays. In fact, yesterday we ran out of red paint for the toys and had to get my reindeer harnessed for
a trip to find some more. We live a long way off, you know.
I hear you’ve been really good this year and I’m very proud of you. The reindeer and I will be flying to
