We in California, who have owned the newsgroup named "ca.general"
for several years have a "suggestion" for certain well-intentioned but
factually misguided folks north of the thaw zone.

TELL YOUR !@#$!@#$!@#$!@#$ ISP PROVIDERS TO CHECK THE !@#$!@#$!
EXISTING GROUPS FILES....as "ca.general" is now and always has
been the "California General" newsgroup. It was created under
that name for that purpose and you clowns CAN'T HAVE IT!!!

Just because you guys don't have any ISP or systems administrators
with the prerequisite brainpower to figure out that ca.general
is NOT the same as the generic domain name for *.ca doesn't mean
that you clowns can hi-jack a pre-existing news group. We won't
give it to you even if you were to perform the extraordinary
socially responsible act of helping Quebec not only remove itself
from Canada legally but physically remove itself from the continent.

Now go write this on the blackboard 1,000 times:

    "ca.general means CALIFORNIA GENERAL, eh"

We now return you to the regularly scheduled Bob Allisat spams.
