Intellicast redesigned - whoo, I don't have to tell anybody about that
one eh? Their removal of links caused much dismay as they
simultaneously invalidated about 250,000 links on the web after their
redesign, then they later apologized and redirected many of them. The
big loss to me was the NEXRAD map as it is now unclear which NEXRAD
sites they have. The redesign was the first in several years for
Intellicast, which has been on the Net since 1995. For more information
on the History of Weather on the Net check out the CASI page at

AccuWeather is having another grass roots approach to product additions
by inviting Net users to vote on whether to include their new satellite
images - a Visible/IR Combination, a new Raw Enhanced IR, and a nice
Color Water Vapor. These strike me of being atypical of what we have
come to expect from Private Weather Companies on the Web. I've cast my
vote - now you cast yours at

AccuWeather is also hinting at a new Aviation weather service called
"PilotWeather", to debut soon, but they aren't saying much yet. Hit
their homepage at http://www.accuweather.com/weatherf/index_corp and
click on "PilotWeather" in the What's New section.
