June Solstice.... Summer arrives in the northern hemisphere tomorrow
(6/21/99) at 3:49 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. This changing of the seasons
is called the June solstice, and it marks the moment that the Sun appears
farthest north in the sky. After tomorrow, the Sun will begin to move
southward, and the days in the northern hemisphere will grow shorter. And
in the southern hemisphere, tomorrow is the beginning of winter.=20
