Here in Great Britain we have had several "spanish plumes" in successtion. Spanish plumes are low pressure disturbances which approach britain from the south and south west off the near continent. They bring massive thunderstorms and even severe thunderstorms. Two tornadoes were reported all though information is lacking as yet. They are not though to have been very strong. Maybe T2 to T3 on the TORRO intensity scale(T0 - T10) . I was lucky enough to be in the middle of the last "plume" as it struck the south coast on June 1st and 2nd.
Keep a lookout for other such outbreaks being reported on BBC national news by using the links at the CASI International homepage.
