Subject: Storm Track who's who
I am looking for a talented person who is interested in being
the Storm Track Who's Who editor (the directory is located at
http://www.storm-track.com/whoswho.htm ). We get about
5-10 new entries per week and because of my other projects
I can't keep up with this task. Rather than put it off and end up
with an outdated directory I'd rather delegate this.
Here's what's involved:
- you get to manage the most complete listing of chasers anywhere
- submissions will go to whoswho{at}storm-track.com which
in turn will automatically route to your E-mail address
- you can modify the format and look of the directory
- you can put it on your site; however Storm Track will
either redirect to your copy or store a copy on its site so the
existing URL won't need to be changed
- if there are problems later down the road, we will resume
control of the directory and revert to the latest good version
- a great opportunity to correspond with other chasers
- the directory currently averages 250 hits per week
- like all Storm Track work (including mine), this is a volunteer
task
- good grammar/spelling, web experience, and consistency are
important
Since y'all are the biggest users of the directory, the topic is
open for group discussion. Otherwise E-mail to me is fine.
