OK, well we made it back from Dulles at noon Sunday:) Gave up at 3AM in
Breezewood and spent the night. At that point we were getting moderate
sleet and starting to pile up pretty well and the hiways were going down
hill. Altoona receivrd about 4 inches of sleet / snow throughout the event
with a glaze of ice on top. Travel conditions were marginal at best last
night through northern MD SouthCentral PA but much improved as of 9AM
Sunday. Final score for the trip... Vehicles in Median- 6 Most were no
damage slide offs tho one pickup truck did chop some firewood on the way
across the median. The most serious looking accident we saw was a rollover
on the west bound lanes of I-70 about6 Miles East of Breezewood. Other than
that I'll have to go dig out now.....
