CASILIST Be advised that I-95 in Palm Beach, Florida is now closed in the North Bound lane due to a very large sink hole opening up, due to the heavy rains that have occurred. I live in Boynton Beach, Florida which is about 15 miles from this area that has recieved over 30 inches of rain. Chuck Satkofsky ==================================================== Sat, 2 Jan 1999 13:49:47 -0500 "Shane" <Cyclone{at}Stc.net> Tallulah Falls Georgia is under a Winter Weather Advisory for this afternoon and early tonight. The cold air is only on the east side of the mountains as I will explain later. Right now it is 29 down from 32 at 7 a.m. and the temperature seems to be steady over the last several hours. There is very light freezing rain falling now with some light accumalations on trees and other surfaces. The bridges and overpasses in the area have been reported to have some ice build up on them but the roads are okay at this time. I have taken some pictures but there isnt a lot to show, I will take some later this afternoon and if they turn out, I will be posting them plus a write up on the day on my web site. The temperatures in my area are 29 here, Cornelia at 27, Toccoa at 32 and Blairsville on the West side of the mountains is sitting on 36. The wind is generally from the N.E. at 8 mph and gusting to the upper teens. I have recorded .01" of rainfall in my guage, but I think it has now iced over and it isnt registering any further rainfall. I will keep CASI posted on further developements as they occur.
