[I received this request for information today. If any of you can help this lady out please identify yourself being from CASI and email her. Thanks!] "I am the editor of a textbook series for a major US publisher; the textbooks are designed for ESL (English as a Second Language) learners at the high school level. Within each chapter we profile a person in a career that fits thematically with the topic of the chapter. I have been trying to identify an Hispanic female weather forecaster or meteorologist who would volunteer to have a small photo and a few facts (background, reason for choosing career, personal comment re career) published in our book. The people profiled are designed to be role models for our ESL students. Could anyone help me or refer me to an association/group that could lead me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.
