CASILIST : Eyes south again - Hurricane Mitch

Well this Hurricane Mitch in the Gulf is really something else now - I
swear that the other day I switched on TWC and they were like "no
development expected," then the next day there was a TS, next day a
hurricane, and now a 145mph hurricane!
But as I remind people on the CASI Mitch Page, Mitch is still not as
strong as some of the more memorable hurricanes - speaking of maximum
intensity only and saying nothing of landfall - GILBERT - 185, HUGO -
160, ANDREW - 155mph.
