I found this URL today but it was pretty buried in an unlikely place so I thought that a lot of you probably didn't have it. If you are a tropical weather fan it is a must see. It contains satellite imagery and loops of a bunch of famous Tropical systems including the West Pacific and Southern Hemisphere. http://www.meto.gov.uk/sec2/sec2cyclone/tcim.html Also... the author of the software which is used for the CASI Live Weather Observation page has announced that his software, WeatherView32, is now compatible with the Peet Brothers Ultimeter Weather Station (it already was with TWI, Radio Shack, and Davis stations). The URL for the CASI Live Weather Station is http://www.weatherwatchers.org/wxstation/liveobs.shtml and the URL for the software that does it is http://www.weatherview32.com/ Note: You may notice strange temperatures from the CASI station this week. Unfortunately, despite the caliber (and price) of the station I am using, it looks like the temperature/dewpoint sensor has gone bad. It drifts around slowly so you might not notice a big difference but it may be reading wrong. For example, last night it gradually fell from 50 to 20 even though the low was in the mid 40's. -- ============================================================== Jesse Ferrell - Meteorologist/Web Dev. - j{at}weatherwatchers.org Central Atlantic Storm Investigators - www.weatherwatchers.org "And here a twister comes... here comes the twister." --Talking Heads || ICQ No. 136832 ||
