I witnessed the strongest surge I have ever seen. 10-12' in some spots. The causeway (hwy 98) over the bay was flooded for four days and stores on 98 were ruined. Made for some good video but I was genuinely sorry for them. That was the only source of income for them. All the way home I thought about the power of a hurr. to change people's lives. I guess that's the gamble for living on the coast. --
