CASILIST : I'm still here ; Tropical Situations

Hi folks just a couple quick notes:
First of all, I am still here, but have had an unusual number of social
and work related activities this week which has kept me away from CASI
for most of this week and will continue to until the weekend. If you
have sent me Member Page changes or other things to do in the past week,
I have received them, but will likely be unable to process much until
this weekend; I apologize for the delay.
Second, what little time I do have during this week will be completely
dedicated to updating the CASI Tropical Pages. Tropical Depression #7
formed off the coast of Africa this morning and all conditions point to
#8 forming in the Gulf soon, probably tomorrow.

Also, I noticed that NASA has added MET-7 to their Satellite data page
which means that you can now access and zoom in and/or animate Infrared,
Water Vapor, and Visible Satellite data for the continent of Africa and
the eastern Atlantic. This will be the best view of TD#7 for the next
several days.
