Thanks to Member Paul Britton for this tip: For the first time on the Internet, Yahoo Weather is offering all* US NEXRAD single site local radars loops for free. http://www.yahoo.com This is what I have observed this morning: These are medium quality black-background 400x400 Single Site NEXRADs which contain the last 10 frames from the NEXRAD (5,6,or 10 minutes). They are updated every 5,6,or 10 minutes with a 60 minute delay. *At this time they don't have NEXRADs mapped to all cities but do to major cities. For this reason it is impossible to see how many locals they have, but they have at least all the major cities and some minor (they have MHX which is often left out of a non-complete list but they may have put in for the hurricane). It is probably reasonable to assume that they will have complete US coverage soon. -- ============================================================== Jesse Ferrell - Meteorologist/Web Dev. - j{at}weatherwatchers.org Central Atlantic Storm Investigators - www.weatherwatchers.org "Andy Warhol had it wrong, Everyone will be famous for 15 minutes *and* have their own Web page." --William Shatner || ICQ No. 136832 ||
