Well I got into work about 3am, is 4:30 now. Been trying to collect the latest data since then. Hope this message makes it through OK. Appears that Bonnie is taking a more westward track, causing Hurricane Warnings to be extended further into South Carolina. There is still much questioning on the eventual landfall but the general feel is that it will still be in NC, although possibly farther South than previously thought. At this time the storm is at the same speed and strength as last night. Buoys near the coast of the Carolinas have reported winds to 63mph and waves to 31.5 feet this morning. I have updated some of the links on the CASI Tropical Pages to include more radars; the meat of Bonnie is now coming onto the Wilmington scope. Hope everyone and their friends and families makes it through it OK. -- ============================================================== Jesse Ferrell - Meteorologist/Web Dev. - j{at}weatherwatchers.org Central Atlantic Storm Investigators - www.weatherwatchers.org "They're not who we're looking for; they're just meteorologists- storm chasers." --Peter Watts, "Millennium" || ICQ No. 136832 ||
