I apologize again this evening that the CASI server is down. This is
the second time in as many days. Before these outages, the CASI server
had *never* been down. I have alerted my provider that I will take my
business elsewhere.
A new Tropical Storm formed today east of the islands. It is Danielle.
Meantime, Bonnie churns in the Atlantic, moving slowly to the NW. Still
the same strength as 2 days ago, she can't increase in strength until
she moves off of the water that she has cooled by clouds and upwelling.
Hurricane Watches have been posted for the coasts of NC and SC in
preparation for the storm, indicating that best guesses for landfall are
near the NC/SC border.
Attached is a message from Mike about model updates and the CASI Aux.
Site.
