For the first time in this storm's history, the National Hurricane Center is talking about a good possibility of Bonnie, now at 115mph, hitting the Southeast US. They say with some dismay at 5pm: LOOKING AT SOME OF THE MODEL FIELDS...THERE IS NOW A DISTINCT POSSIBILITY THAT BONNIE COULD BE TRAPPED BENEATH A NARROW RIDGE ALONG ABOUT 36N LATITUDE OR SO. IF THIS IS THE CASE...BONNIE COULD REACH THE SOUTHEAST U.S. COAST NEAR THE END OF THIS FORECAST PERIOD. -- http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/ftp/pub/forecasts/discussion/MIATCDAT2 I have made some more changes to the CASI Tropical Surface pages. I am about to make them public so if a few of you could please test them and make sure they work OK. It should now push you to the correct page depending on your browser. Thanks very much, if you could let me know if they are OK as soon as possible: http://www.weatherwatchers.org/tropical/surface/ -- ============================================================== Jesse Ferrell - Meteorologist/Web Dev. - j{at}weatherwatchers.org Central Atlantic Storm Investigators - www.weatherwatchers.org "Dust will make you blind, nothing you can find; Running scared !
