This is a notice to the Members that someone from Penn State University has been sending threatening emails to CASI HeadQuarters. Since they have approached me there is a slight chance that they might approach you as well. I suggest that if you receive a questionable e-mail from someone (I can't release the full address yet but the partial is em****{at}psu.edu or anonymous) claiming to be from the PSU Meteorology Department or the National Weather Service that you do not respond as the best way to deal with this is by ignoring the individual until official prosecution takes place. Thank you for your support as we deal with yet another of this planet's disturbed individuals. I'd also appreciate your not discussing this outside of CASI until the situation is resolved as, again, ignoring the person's threats is the best way to resolve it. I have contacted PSU officials since this individual presumes to speak for the University and will contact local police if the threats continue as this person is obviously of questionable mentality and does reside on campus here in State College. -- ============================================================== Jesse Ferrell - Meteorologist/Web Dev. - j{at}weatherwatchers.org Central Atlantic Storm Investigators - www.weatherwatchers.org "And here a twister comes... here comes the twister." --Talking Heads || ICQ No. 136862 ||
