Guys!
I need your help! Please send me your storm rainfall tallies for this
weekend storm if you live within range of the GSP radar site. I'm
attempting to calibrate the storm-total rainfall function on the GSP radar
for my Hydrology class and I need all the ground-truth data I can get.
I've already got access to the regular reporting stations in the area plus
the IFLOW automated gauge network...but the gauges in your backyard would
really help the calibration process!
Just e-mail me at tima{at}vortex.atms.unca.edu Sunday or Monday (whenever
the rain ends) with your storm total accumulations for the whole event
this weekend. Please include your exact geographical location (for
example: 14 miles W of CLT).
