Here at HQ we have gotten about 3" of snow, with the wind (steady 10-15
all day) blowing it into drifts of 7". It is still snowing and sleeting
here in Central Pennsylvania.

Other snowfalls I've heard of: 2 feet in KY; 18" as of 10am at Beech
Mountain, NC.

Last night I heard about the 82mph gust at Flat Top mountain, NC. That
happens to be a report from my old boss at NCDC (Grant Goodge). He was
the person who reported the 110mph gust during the SuperStorm of '93.

Off the East Coast we have reports of 24 foot waves, with winds in the
60-70 mph range on the coast of NJ & MD this evening.
