On the Net tonight:
United Media is threatening to close down the Gilbert comic strip on the
Net. If you haven't read it you should, especially if you are familiar
with the storm chasing community. A response was posted to
bit.listserv.wx-chase today. It was very funny if you haven't read it
yet. I am dismayed to see yet another web site being shut down by
companies. It has become very prevalent this year. However it looks
like Allan Rosenberg will be fighting this. I wish him the best of
luck.

Personal AccuWeather *finally* added the zoom radar and DIFAX charts to
their Premium service. They also added a decibel scale to the Premium
(16color) local radar (and zooms).

CNN's Weather web site has been redesigned, adding International
Satellite Animations and quicktime movies of US temperatures and
movement of weather systems. They appear to be having several problems
with this new website however as several of the satellite anim's were
missing and the quicktimes were old as of today.
