Oh, hail the great Automatic Surface Observing Station in Atlanta this
evening (hour of 1Z obs):

ATL ATLANTA/HAR 1900 overcast 53 53 E 10 29.83 4 rain, fog
ATL ATLANTA/HAR 8000 overcast 11 -07 SW 07 29.47 10
ATL ATLANTA/HAR 8500 overcast 50 18 S 04 29.47 10

Nothing like those broken clouds at zero elevation (broken ground? :))
and I knew the cold air was damming, but damm, a drop to 11? I don't
think so...and that pressure's just wild...
