A rare and deep upper-trough developed in the last days over the Middle East
(Israel, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, and The West Bank) caused one of the most
rare activity in the last 3 decades. CBs clouds developed mostly everywhere
over northern Jordan and Israel and over Lebanon and Syria. This caused
thunderstorms to developed in that areas with some rain showers and gusty
winds. Over the capiatl of Jordan (Amman), the first time since 1967 a
towering cumulus clouds observed from the Meteo Office....I think the Middle
East got a very rare summer this year. For those whome they didn't they
didn't know the climate of the Middle East --> The summer is chartarized by
hot weather during the day and mainly comfortable during night, and
upper-troughs and low pressure systesm very rare to happen, and the Middle
East affect from the end of May until mid-september by the trough of the
Indian Monsoon low (Persian Trough).
