Serious outflow! Impressive indeed. I'm located 16 miles just west of
Atlanta just off Interstate 20. Boundary returns from Peachtree City
Nexrad were really interesting compared to years past, to say the least,
during the feeder bands of Dennis. In 6 days beginning with Cindy and
ending with Dennis this afternoon, I've hit a total precip measurement of
20 inches. We're having flooding in the eastern section of Douglas County
that no one has ever remembered. Even the old timers. This has to be above
a 200 year flood level event in the areas that feeder band training took
place. Our local Ford dealership that was flooded, hit the NY Times and
Today Show newslines this morning. In my years of following this stuff and
volunteering in local Emergency Management, that piece of property has
never flooded, along with several other pieces of realestate I've never
seen under water. Just amazing!
