Thailand. Since January 1st, Bangkok has averaged 3.0 degrees above
normal. The average temperature for the period was 82.7 (an average of
the daily highs AND lows). Bangkok has averaged near 86 degrees since
Jan 1st! Sunday was no different as the mercury soared to near 100
degrees in the afternoon. When combined with the stifling humidity it
felt like an unbelievable 127 degrees.
The warmest readings wee found across France, Germany, and southern
England. Temperatures in Frankfurt climbed into the upper 70s. This
is above the average high for July! Temperatures climbed into the low
70s in London. The average high for mid July is 71. The warmest
temperatures will shift into eastern Europe Monday and Tuesday as a
cold front moves through western into central Europe.

offshore, picked up over 4 inches in a 30 hour period ending Friday.
This is 5 times the average rainfall for the month of April.
