Here in western North Carolina, Henderson county, we continue to experience 60+ mph winds which are resulting in hundreds of downed
trees. The downed trees are also taking out power, phone & cable tv lines too.

I am with the Mills River FD and we have been running calls to remove huge trees from blocking roads, and many of the trees are
causing property damage, coming down on the residents roofs.

So far as I am aware, there have been NO injuries to the public nor to any of the fire crews.

We WILL be glad to see these heavy winds subside SOON!

God Bless!
John Benjamin
Mills River, NC
