Minnesota received two feet of snow yesterday. What's exciting about
that? It was more snow than they had received all winter, and during this
entire month they have received only a trace of rain or snow!

QUOTES:

"MANKATO Spring may start on Sunday, but Old Man Winter showed his
stubbornness Friday with a snowstorm that was forecast to dump 20 inches of
snow on greater Mankato.

That will makes harsher a winter that had been mild by southern Minnesota's
standards. Mankato resident David Torgerson said the lack of significant
snowfall this year made Friday's storm less of a surprise.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation closed Interstate 90 from
Luverne to Blue Earth in the afternoon.

And now, it seems, the same has happened for southern Minnesota. What
looked like an "easy" winter has averaged out."

in Humboldt to about a foot in Mason City. Britt got nine inches, while
