(Winchester nw VA)

Another Sunday snow that misses us. This storm affected the tidewater &
Delmarva sections of eastern VA. Heavy snow fell in parts of the area,
bring several reports of over a foot. The contrast between almost
nothing (Williamsburg .5") to over a foot (Tabb in York Co) was very
small... a mere 25 miles!

The heaviest snow fell just southwest of Norfolk. For summertime NC
travelers, it's where the 2 bridge/ tunnels cross near the mouth of the
Chesapeake Bay.

VA snow totals for 12/26
