Mount Saint Helens erupted again (mostly steam) this afternoon at about
12:35 eastern time. Although volcanoes are not a meteorological event, the
ash spread by them will most certainly involve meteorology to find its
direction. As such, I have created an archive of the Mount Saint Helens
webcam at the following URL:

http://www.weathermatrix.net/wxcam/25/archive/?M=D

You can see the actual cam here:
http://www.fs.fed.us/gpnf/volcanocams/msh/

Although I have cleared out duplicates up through 13:30 eastern time, the
cam has been updating at intervals between 5 and 20 minutes, so some of the
images may be the same because we are archiving every 5 minutes. I was
only archiving hourly until the eruption this afternoon.

AccuWeather is providing expected 10-hour ashfall potential maps (if a
large ash eruption occurs):

Also the government has hi-res satellites from Mt. Saint Helens (nothing
new today yet)
<http://www.osei.noaa.gov/Events/Volcano/US_Northwest/>

And they have volcanic ash models for theoretical eruptions:

Should an actual ash eruption occur, the models would be available here
instead:
