become a hurricane overnight and pass within 75 miles of my location. We
are under a Flood Watch and Tropical Storm Warning. We are under a risk
for flooding, power outages and minor tree damage tonight.
visibilities and causing spray to fly from the waves, which have increased
to 6-7 feet this afternoon, 10 feet offshore. Local surfers are taking
advantage of this. I have taken some photos at around 5pm which are
available at the URL and I will continue to update the situation
tonight. There are 5 photos at this time but they will take a few minutes
to upload over this dial-up connection.
