"MINOT, N.D. - Thunderstorms spawned reports of tornadoes and large
hailstones in northwestern North Dakota. The National Weather Service had a
report of a barn destroyed west of Douglas, in southern Ward County, but no
reports of injuries.

Weather spotters were calling in reports of tornadoes in the area west of
Lake Sakakawea, but it was unclear Sunday night how many may have touched
down. "We've had several reports from different people, and they might be
seeing the same tornado," said Janine Vining, a weather service
meteorologist in Bismarck.

Golf-ball sized hail was reported on the south edge of Minot, police Sgt.
Rob White said."
