Here, 4 miles south of Curwensville in Central Pennsylvania, Mothers Day set a record for my wx station and poss even more stations. At 2:05 pm you could look to the WNW and see a rapidly growing single cell thunderstorm with a beautiful rain band and small shelf cloud forming. At 2:20pm the storm produced the hardest rainfall I have ever seen, you really could not see 2 ft. from you, our rain rate went up to 7:78in/hr and we recieved 0.22inches of rain in 7 min. WOW!
