Hey,
Huntington, IN got 48% of normal precipitation in April, 2004, this is the 7th driest on record.
Is was also 6.1F degrees above normal, the 2ed warmest month on record! The warmest month was September 2002 with 6.6 above average.
April had only 5 precipitation days, all of them in the last third of the month, when 1.57 inches of rain fell.
The first 19 days of April had no measureable precipitation at all, this is the longest stretch with no measureable precipitation on record.
My record period is March 2002-now.
~Jimmy
