At 5pm, a line of severe thunderstorms was moving through Minnesota,
approaching Minneapolis St. Paul.
Surface station 8Y8 reported a temperature of 39 degrees while station CBG
reported 86. The stations are a very short distance apart (can't tell on
map, 20-40 miles?). A station the same distance to the SW of CBG reported
90 degrees!
4 tornado warnings are in effect for the counties in between :) and 12
severe thunderstorm warnings are in effect with this system.

One of the storms in the vicinity reported a Mesocyclone with 3-D rotation
and 2.5" diameter hail.
