"WARRINGTON couple escaped serious injury when lightning struck their home,
starting several fires and filling the house with poisonous ozone gas. Fire
crews had to wear breathing apparatus to tackle the incident in California
Avenue, Callands.

The lightning blasted a hole in the wall, blew out power sockets and burned
cables throughout the house."
