Overnight we had 2 1/2 inches of snowfall here in Mills River, NC which is
about 4 miles south of the Asheville Regional Airport.

The snowfall has turned to sleet and freezing rain. The major roads seem to
be OK for travel but the secondary roads are not and are very slippery.

We have not seen a salt or plow truck in our neighborhood as of 0745.
