After my talking about it for the past 13 days T.S. Larry has now finally formed in the Bay Of Campeche. It is currently quasi stationary and it's a tough call as to her future track, as stationary tropical cyclones are impossible to forecast.
It may be picked up and sling shotted NE towards central or north Florida in a few days, as the next 500 mb longwave trough and it's attendant shortwave's dig south and east into the Gulf Of Mexico. However Larry is so far south and west in the Bay Of Campeche that it may never get picked up and may just meander south or west into Mexico.
Take Care,
Thomas F. Giella
