Here on eastern Long Island, temperatures and
especiallty the dewpoint has dropped quite a bit since
this time yesterday. Compared with 71º and a 71º
dewpoint yesterday, today its 61º with a 49º dewpoint.
Yesterday frontal passage brought 1.64" of rain, with
rates up to 1.60"/hr...today, by contrast, has had
0.03" with no shortage of towering cumulus clouds with
black bottoms. Expecting the lowest temps of the
season tonight (~48º).
