WEATHERMATRIX HEADLINE 9/4/03 ...SEVERE HURRICANE FABIAN FORECAST TO PASS
VERY NEAR BERMUDA... AT 11 AM AST... THE BERMUDA WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED
A HURRICANE WARNING FOR BERMUDA, SAYING "The closest point of approach of
HURRICANE FABIAN to Bermuda within the next 72 hours, is forecast to be
approximately 15 nm..." PREPARATIONS TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY SHOULD BE
RUSHED TO COMPLETION... LOCAL PAPER NOTES "... could be the worst to ever
hit the Island..."
