In the ten years I've been keeping weather records here in the NW
corner of South Carolina, this is the latest in the year that we have
gone, and NOT reached 90 degrees. The previous record was June 7,
1993. My high temp so far this year has been 88.9 degrees, recorded
just a couple of days ago, on June 11. The cool, wet Spring is a
welcomed relief, after the long drought we had over the last few
years. Not only that, it's nice to get the electric bill, and not go
into cardiac arrest!! To all the Father's, Happy Father's Day! So
long, from the beautiful corner of the upsate of South Carolina.
